Job Opportunity: Senior Commercial Manager/Commercial Director

A leading organisation working on Southern Water are seeking to strengthen their Commercial team with a Senior Commercial Manager/Commercial Director based in the Southern Water Region. The primary focus of this role is to lead the next AMP cycle of the framework, overseeing the management of a £(Apply online only) million per year region. They will provide commercial support and leadership to projects and contracts, ensuring commercial discipline is maintained throughout the framework's duration.

Key Responsibilities
·Strategic Planning: Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
·Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring optimal terms are secured.
·Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate commercial risks.
·Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
·Change Management: Manage contract changes and implement strategies to minimize risks.
·Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and driving profitability.
·Team Leadership: Mentor, guide, and lead the commercial team to achieve departmental goals and deliver on the framework.

About You
Essential
·Proven experience in a commercial management role, preferably within the water sector.
·Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
·Proficient in contract management and risk assessment.
·Senior management experience with demonstrated leadership capability.
·Experience working in a joint venture environment with a focus on client-facing roles.
·A track record of successfully embedding a positive delivery culture within organizations.
