Job Title: Tax Associate Graduate
Salary: Base salary of 28,000 + 10% London weighting
Additional premiums for

Location: London or Cannock with the flexibility to travel between both sites
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Programme Duration: 2 year programme

Candidate shortlisting will take place week commencing the 21st & 28th April 2025 and the assessment day week commencing the 12th May 2025.

Graduate Programme

During this programme, you'll gain valuable insight into our services and strategic projects and we'll help you to further develop your skills and knowledge so that you can succeed in your career. You'll also join our graduate network and receive our continued support throughout.

We're strong believers in continuous development here at Veolia and actively encourage and support everyone to keep going after you finish the programme.

This role offers a unique in-house practical training experience, together with professional exam study and support, leading to the ATT (Association of Tax Technicians) and CTA (Chartered Tax Advisor) qualifications within three years.

What will you be doing;

- Acting as an employment tax business partner for Veolia UK
- Preparation of PAYE Settlement Agreement calculations and assist with employment tax and payroll queries
- Assist with all expatriate tax matters including liaising with external tax advisers
- Support the group tax team and the wider business to ensure tax issues are identified and appropriately managed

What are we looking for;

- Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline with an interest in tax (to be achieved by September 2025)
- Willingness to travel between Cannock and London
- Practical outlook to problem-solving
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new things and develop
- An enthusiastic, creative and solution-oriented thinker
- Drivers Licence (willingness to get one)
- Willingness to travel
