Business Studies Teacher 

South Birmingham

Pay rates vary between £130 to £190 per day depending on experience

TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school based in South Birmingham that are looking for a committed Business Studies and Economics teacher, to teach KS5. 

The timetable will focus predominantly on teaching Business Studies, but experience teaching Economics will be required.

The secondary school prides itself on being a school that inspires and motivates students to achieve academic excellence.

The successful teacher would be working across KS5 ensuring the work is planned, prepared, and delivered to a high standard whilst following schemes of work. You may also be required to support KS3 and KS4.

The Senior Leadership Team and the Head of Department will offer excellent support to the successful teacher and will provide an encouraging and supportive environment.

Applicants need to have the following:

QTS
Strong subject knowledge
Experience teaching Business Studies and Economics up to KS5.
Excellent classroom management.
DBS on the update Service (Preferred but not essential, a DBS can be applied for when required)
All our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you are paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance.
