Fraser Edwards are currently working with Asbestos Business that have been in business for more than 10 years with a team of more than 50 asbestos professionals and the team continues to grow every year.

Due to continued growth, our client is recruiting for a Asbestos Removal Operative to join the team, to undertake works in Kettering, Northamptonshire. This position will be covering projects nationwide.

The Job:

* Perform asbestos removal activities in accordance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and project plans.

* Conduct site inspections and assessments against the plan of works and raise any concerns regarding the removal’s methods to the sites Asbestos Removals Supervisor.

* Safely handle, transport, and dispose of asbestos-containing materials.

* Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)and respiratory protection when working with asbestos.

* Respond to incidents or emergencies related to asbestos removal.

* Minimize the risk of contamination during asbestos removal activities.

* Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in asbestos removal activities, including vacuum cleaners, saws, and power tools.

* Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to ensure that asbestos removal activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and effectively.

* Ensure that you have read, signed, and understood the POW and associated risk assessments.

Company Benefits:

* Basic Salary: Up to £150 per day / shift (£39,150 per annum)

* Time and a half at weekends - dependent upon experience.

Candidate Requirements

* Asbestos Removal Operative Certificate (Minimum 2 Years’ experience) and all relevant documentation

* CSCS Card

* Full UK Driving License
