Sterling Recruitment Services are looking to recruit a Plating Supervisor for our client based in Wallsend.

The ideal candidate will be time served plater, plating supervisor or general foreman within a heavy steel fabrication setting.

Your most important tasks:

* Responsible for safety and coordination of production area

* Planning manpower, time and plant resources

* Area supervision of labour.

* Ensuring area is safely clear of trades in preparation for assembly/production.

* Planning production area activities around a month in advance.

Candidate Specification:

* Must be able to read engineering drawings.

* Must have a flexible approach to work and be able to work as part of a team.

* A no-nonsense approach to work with the ability to inspire others.

* This is a development role with the intention of the successful candidate becoming a Production Leader
