We are delighted to be partnered with our client, an established and highly reputable accountancy and financial services based business as they seek to recruit an Outsourcing Senior to join their experienced and friendly team, within their offices in Uckfield.

Based in the Uckfield, East Sussex office, you will be joining a friendly team. You will have current outsourcing experience and be passionate in providing an exceptional bespoke service to the clients who range from entrepreneurs & SMEs to groups of companies.

Outsourcing Senior

Full time permanent role - office based but with flexibility to work from home on occasions

Mon-Fri (Apply online only)

Role based in Uckfield. There is free parking available on the streets close to the office. The office is also around 5-10 mins walk from the nearest mainline station.

Salary - £34000-£38000 per annum plus very good company benefits. £34000 /£35000 will be offered if you require study support and the £36000- £38000 level region will be offered if you are QBE or fully qualified

Duties will include:

Reviewing junior team members work

Support juniors in their professional development

Respond to, and anticipate, clients needs

Prepare and review VAT returns

Prepare consolidations and cash flows for management accounts

Prepare and review management accounts

Manage multiple deadlines at once

Ensure a high level of service to meet clients expectations

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

Evidence of being a proactive, hands-on team player who is confident in working to changing priorities in a busy department

A natural organiser with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

Be confident working in a fast-paced environment

Studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or can be Qualified by Experience

Previous proven bookkeeping, VAT and management accountants experience

Good level of VAT knowledge

Numerate and analytical with excellent written and verbal communications skills

Intermediate/advanced Excel, Xero, Dext and Quickbooks

Strong experience in a small/medium sized practice
