Office Administrator

Location: Canada Square, Canary Wharf, London

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: 9-6 Monday to Friday.

Manpower is partnering with a global trading company that has recently established its UK office in Canada Square. This dynamic organisation is looking for an enthusiastic Office Administrator to join their small team. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to grow alongside the company as it expands its UK operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Reception and Mail Management:
Manage reception duties, including greeting visitors and handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages efficiently.
Procurement of Office Supplies:
Assess the needs of various departments and ensure timely procurement of necessary supplies to support smooth operations.
Expense Management:
Handle monthly expenses related to office administration and general affairs, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Document Filing and Maintenance:
Organise and preserve document forms, scheduling, maintaining, and updating documents as necessary.
Office Equipment and Environment Maintenance:
Oversee the maintenance and management of office equipment and facilities, including meeting rooms, pantry, and company vehicles.
Event Planning and Coordination:
Organise events such as afternoon tea, monthly birthday celebrations, holiday gift preparations, and other company activities to foster a positive work culture.
Support for Departmental Tasks:
Assist with internal departmental work and handle tasks assigned by supervisors to enhance team efficiency. Some out of hours emergency cover will be needed for trade completion etc.
Travel Arrangements:
Aid employees with travel arrangements, including booking flights, visa applications, and accommodation as needed.Qualifications:

Previous experience in office administration or a similar role is preferred.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
