Our client is currently seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join their team in Essex. This permanent role is geared towards residential projects, with particular commercial projects also included. The workload allows for the addition of a new inspector, providing an excellent opportunity for career development.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting inspections of residential and commercial buildings to ensure compliance with building regulations
Providing detailed reports and recommendations based on inspections
Collaborating with construction teams to ensure project specifications are met
Offering expert advice on Building Control to various stakeholders
Ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all inspections and findings
Liaising with local authorities and clients to address any issues or concerns
Maintaining knowledge of current regulations and industry standards
Supporting other team members and contributing to a collaborative work environment

Job Requirements:

Experience in Building Control within residential and commercial sectors
Strong understanding of building regulations and standards
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficient in report writing and documentation
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Relevant qualification in Building Control or related field
