About the Role: SCP is looking for a passionate and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Manchester office. Specialising in the construction sector, you’ll play a key role in sourcing and placing top talent for a wide range of clients. Your experience and expertise will guide you, but we won’t hold you back with rigid rules and targets. Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the construction sector.

* Source, screen, and place high-quality candidates in temporary and permanent positions.

* Manage the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement and beyond.

* Work closely with clients to understand their hiring needs and deliver effective recruitment solutions.

* Provide a high level of service and ensure both candidates and clients are satisfied with placements.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within the construction sector (although we are open to strong candidates from other industries).

* A results-driven attitude, with the ability to work independently.

* Strong communication and negotiation skills.

* Ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients and candidates.

* A proactive, self-motivated approach to work.
