My client pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and maintenance for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). Their team is dedicated to ensuring that every vehicle they service is safe, reliable, and ready for the road. They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Mobile Technician to join their dynamic team.

Job Description

As an HGV Mobile Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repair services for HGVs. Your role will involve diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues, performing routine inspections, and ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards. You will be working independently, traveling to various locations to assist our clients, and ensuring their vehicles are in top condition.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct on-site diagnostics and repairs for HGVs.

* Perform routine maintenance and inspections.

* Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

* Provide excellent customer service and support.

* Maintain accurate records of all services performed.

* Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements

* Proven experience as an HGV Technician.

* Strong knowledge of HGV systems and components.

* Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues.

* Excellent problem-solving skills.

* Valid driver's license and ability to travel.

* Strong communication and customer service skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Benefits

* Competitive salary of £19 - £21 per hour

* Bonus of £1000 per year

* Regular working day of 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday

* Overtime available on Saturdays and in the week, paid at time and a half
