Position Summary: 

We are looking for a passionate Nursery Manager to lead our team and manage the day-to-day operations of our Southampton nursery. The successful candidate will ensure the provision of exceptional care and education, maintain regulatory standards, and create a positive, inclusive environment for children and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Lead and manage a team of early childhood educators, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
Develop and implement educational programs and activities that meet the needs and interests of children.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain up-to-date records.
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the local community.
Manage nursery budgets, resources, and staffing schedules efficiently.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the nursery's policies and procedures, making improvements as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursery or early years setting.
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to the development and well-being of children.
First Aid certification and safeguarding training are highly desirable.
