gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for an Automation Technician to work at their facility based near Crewe.

Performance Objectives

Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot automated production systems.
Conduct tests to evaluate performance of automated systems.
Maintain records of automated systems.
Develop and implement modifications to automated systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems.
Assist with the development of training materials for other technicians.Person Specification

The Automation Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial automation systems.
This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and experience in the fields of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics.
The Automation Technician must have a solid understanding of industrial processes and be able to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
