ML69- BSE Cost Manager.

Salary: £43,000.

Location: Winchester.

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a BSE Cost Manager on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform quantity take-offs for lighting, containment, pipework, ductwork, etc., with minimal supervision.
Review and cost variations, with guidance as needed.
Source and obtain pricing for plant items, liaising with suppliers and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Assist in reviewing valuation submissions from contractors, including conducting site visits.
Maintain accurate cost logs, ensuring all relevant updates from emails and meetings are recorded promptly.
Support cost reporting and financial analysis.
Contribute to cost planning across all RIBA stages.
Skills and qualifications:

BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
MEP QS experience is required and must be clearly stated in your application and will be discussed/evidenced at interview
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels
A proactive and collaborative work ethic, supporting teams across the business to meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Bluebeam, and CostX
Salary: £43,000.
