As a Manufacturing Engineering Team Leader, your main responsibilities include:

Develop and execute department strategies aligned with business goals
Manage and prioritise workloads for multiple departments
Regularly assess and address the team’s training and development requirements
Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings to ensure team objectives are being met
Oversee shop floor support, capital investments, new product launches, and cost-saving initiatives
Optimise production processes
Collaborate with the Design and Project teams to ensure successful product launches
Resolve issues to meet delivery targets
Lead cost reduction initiatives and report progress regularly
Manage budgets
Assist with efficiency reporting and accurate product costs
Maintain 5S organisation standards
Gather and prepare data for monthly presentations
Comply with health and safety regulations 
Qualifications and Experience Required:

Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing and 2+ years of leadership experience
Degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field
Knowledge and experience with TPM
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing techniques, 8D, 5S, and Cell Design
Hands-on experience with CNC and moulding machines
Experience with MRP systems and SAP
Expertise in quality assurance
Data analysis and presenting skills
Familiarity with continuous improvement methods
Proven experience in managing large projects
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (or equivalent)
