Senior Technical Author – Semicon Manufacturing – Bristol – IM3375a

Salary: up to c£50k, depend on experience, plus benefits

Job Term: Permanent, Full Time, Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite.

Job Outline:

We are now looking for a Senior Technical Author to join and lead a small team of Technical Authors in Bristol.

The role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis with a hybrid working model. (3 days onsite).

Leading the technical content authoring services, you will create a vision for the technical publications, establish a strategy for its delivery, and set the standards required to deliver consistent technical publications.

Success in this role will require you to build and maintain relationships across business units and develop your team’s product expertise.

Experience:

As an experienced Technical Author / Writer, you will have strong experience working with Authoring tools such as Madcap Flare and Adobe FrameMaker.

Ideally you will have proven leadership experience, or be ready to take a step up into a Leader / Manager role.

Qualifications:

A Degree in Engineering or a Technical discipline which was taught in English is preferred.

Alternatively a Qualification in English language or literature with a demonstratable technical writing portfolio.

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be eligible to live and work in the UK. Copies of Passport and Visa will be requested for verification.
