Our client has been voted as one of the top accountancy practices to work for and due to an immediate increase in demand within the Swindon area, we are recruiting for an Audit Senior/Accounts Senior role to join their business, working in a team of 8.

Depending on the time of year, your role’s priorities will shift between Audit & Accounts which means you’ll have a lot of variation for your day-to-day duties.

Other key duties include:

Taking the lead and assisting on audit assignments.

Management and delivery of audit/accounts assignments for all types of companies.

Preparing draft corporation & business tax and computations with supporting analysis.

Planning audit assignments, including budgeting and use of analytical review.

Supervising the work of juniors.

Communicating with clients.

Providing assistance to the Partners, Stakeholders and Management.

Requirements

Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and International Standards for Auditing.

The candidate must be ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 4 years of practice experience.

Ability to multitask with excellent time management skills.

Experience leading audits.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

Good experience using a variety of bookkeeping software, including local and online platforms such as MyWorkPapers, Sage, QuickBooks and Xero, Kashflow etc.

The candidate should be confident by nature.
