Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Northampton

£37,500 - 45,000

4 on 3 off 12 hour shift pattern.  

We have partnered with a progressive business in Northampton, who are extending their team looking for a Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance on plant, ensuring minimal disruption to production requirements.

Key Duties:

Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on a variety of plant and machinery
Carry out any repairs or modifications to machinery as necessary
Fit and assemble mechanical components during reactive or preventative maintenance tasks
Work closely with the team to ensure minimal disruption to downtime across the site
Carry out electrical fault-finding and root cause analysis to identify reoccurring issues 

Requirements:

Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment including 18th Edition experience
Demonstrable experience in 3 phase electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repairs
Experience working with Compactors, Balers and Extruders highly desirable
Ability to work independently
Organisational skills & Attention to Detail
Good communication skills
Ability to be flexible/multi-task based on workflow demands
Critical thinking skills
