We are seeking a Production Operative - CNC Lathe setter / operator to support our clients manufacturing team.

The role involves various organisational tasks to assist the Production Manager, ensuring efficient operations. Successful candidates will engage with work orders, understand technical drawings, utilise measuring equipment, and maintain a clean workspace while contributing to a collaborative environment.

This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in production, particularly with experience in setting / operating manual and CNC lathes.

Candidates should possess excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive attitude towards learning and collaboration within a team setting.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake work orders generated by internal sales teams.
Collaborate with team members to manage weekly workloads.
Interpret technical drawings and adhere to specified tolerances.
Operate inspection measuring equipment for quality control.
Set up first-off inspections and oversee final machining processes.Reporting directly to the Production Manager you must have a experience in setting & operating manual & CNC lathes, have excellent attention to detail, experience in a production / manufacturing environment.

In return our client offers up to £37,000 dependant on experience, day shift working 7:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday, access to a bike 2 work scheme & company funded employee assistance programme, on site parking available & flexible working arrangements where possible. Our client also offers Bi-annual performance reviews with potential for salary increases and bonuses.
