Role Purpose:
As a Lighting Designer, you’ll have the opportunity to design lighting schemes of varying complexities, providing expert support and insight to ensure that every project meets the highest standards.
You will engage directly with clients and collaborate with our teams, making a real impact in creating optimized lighting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and Develop Lighting Schemes: Bring your ideas to life within set timelines.
* Technical Mastery: Gain in-depth knowledge of industry methods, standards, and regulations; we’ll support you every step of the way.
* Communication: Interact effectively with clients and team members on all lighting-related topics.
* Site Engagement: Conduct site surveys and appraisals, assessing and improving installations.
* Task Management: Track your projects and manage your tasks to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
* Team Collaboration: Assist our Lighting Applications Manager with department goals and KPIs.
What You’ll Bring:
* Experience in Lighting Design: Any sector welcome—training is provided.
* Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Dialux, Relux, Lighting Reality, or AGI32 is ideal (training available).
* Attention to Detail: A keen eye for design and accuracy.
* Standards Knowledge: Understanding of BS5489-1 and EN13201 is a plus (we’ll train you if needed).
* Project Management: Strong time management and organizational skills to balance multiple projects.
