Academics are looking to recruit a Welfare Assistant to work and support children with Special Educational Needs in Adlington.

This role will be versatile and children that require support may vary in age groups and key stages. Work for this role can be either full time or part time depending on your preference. Experience with SEN Children will be highly desirable within this role as personal care may sometimes be a requirement.

Academics are a UK leading recruitment and supply agency based in Stoke-on-Trent. We routinely service Cheshire and Staffordshire with high-quality teaching staff and wish to know expand client base in Adlington and its surrounding area. Having an experienced Welfare Assistant join our team would help us do just that.

So, as a Welfare Assistant what would you be doing?

Support a child's mental, emotional and academics needs to ensure they are getting the best experience out of their education
Assist the teacher in finding ways to help SEN students learn that suits their own individual needs
When required, provide personal care to studentsThis will be a demanding, as well as a highly rewarding role and the successful candidate will need to display positivity, resilience, patience, compassion, energy, empathy and certainly a sense of humour. The successful candidate will form part of an exceptional team of highly committed and dedicated staff.
