Design Technology Teacher - April/September 2025

Salary: £37,141 to £50,471 per annum / £160 to £260 per day

A well-respected secondary school in Staines is seeking a motivated and experienced Computer Science Teacher to join their faculty from April/September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative teacher to inspire students in the ever-evolving world of computing.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Teach a range of DT disciplines, including Product Design, Resistant Materials, and Engineering.
Guide students in GCSE and A-Level coursework and assessments.
Encourage innovation, problem-solving, and hands-on learning through practical projects.
Maintain a safe and well-equipped learning environment in the workshop.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in Design Technology, Product Design, or Engineering.
Experience using CAD software and workshop tools is desirable.
Passion for creative, technical, and practical education.This position offers flexibility, with both part-time and full-time roles available, either on a supply or permanent basis.
