Join Our Team as a SEN Support Worker /TA!
Are you passionate about supporting children with complex disabilities and Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Tezlom is looking for dedicated SEN Support Workers to work in a school based in Walton on Thames .
About the Role:
As a SEN Support Worker / TA, you will:
- Support young children with additional needs in a school setting.
-Assist with personal care and toileting when required.
-Help children using oxygen, standing frames, walkers, and wheelchairs.
-Work with students who use eye-gazers (experience is a plus).
-Provide support to non-verbal children—sign language and PECS knowledge is beneficial.
-Assist with feeding during lunchtime and help with school transport.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children with severe learning difficulties.
-Enhanced DBS Certificate (on the update service or willing to apply for a new one).
-Right to work in the UK.
-Professional references.
-A valid driver’s license and own car (advantageous but not essential).
