Part-Time Housekeeper

Near Bloxham

£35,000 to £45,000 pro rata

12-15 hours per week

Monday to Friday

The Burford Recruitment Company is seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time housekeeper for a private household near Bloxham, Oxfordshire.

Our client is looking for someone to join them 12-15 hours per week and they can be flexible on the working schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing. Ensure all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas, are maintained to the highest standard

* Manage the household laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organisation

* Maintain an organised and clutter-free home. Manage storage areas and ensure household items are properly stored and accessible

* Run household errands, such as dry-cleaning, post-office visits, and other tasks as required

* Identify and report any maintenance issues within the property. Liaise with service providers and contractors for repairs and maintenance as needed

* There are sheep and chickens at the farmhouse which the Housekeeper will be required to check on twice daily, any action required will be taken by the farmer

Requirements:

* The ideal candidate will be a calm and positive person with a happy demeanour!

* Have proven experience as a housekeeper in a private household

* Excellent cleaning and organisational skills. Ability to perform detailed and thorough cleaning tasks

* Ability to adapt to the household’s needs and schedule

* Communication skills with the ability to follow instructions and interact professionally with household members and guests
