We are currently looking for a passionate individual to join our Reading team in the position of a Behaviour Support Worker in November 2024. The role is based within our specialist education setting, catering to students aged 5-16 years old. The Behaviour Support Worker role is all about building relationships, encouraging independence and engaging students in their education.
Supporting learners who are facing challenges regarding behaviour management
Assisting students learning healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation
Tracking progress and implementing education plans
Use effective communication skills to resolve conflicts

8am-4pm, Monday - Friday

SEN Provision Key qualities of a Behaviour Support Worker are that you are sure of yourself, have an extroverted nature, value trust and relationships and have patience for those struggling!
Experience supporting children on a personal or professional level is very beneficial but not mandatory. Relevant education or previous experience is welcomed.
