Alecto Recruitment is working with a market leader in the Anaerobic Digestion sector who is actively looking for a Shift Electrician at their site in Nottingham
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

As part of your role, you will be responsible for the following tasks, though your duties are not limited to these:
* Perform routine maintenance and repair of all plant and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments before commencing any work or tasks, ensuring safety and compliance.
* Accurately complete all required logs and job sheets in a timely manner.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area upon the completion of any job or task.
* Install and maintain both new and existing equipment with minimal disruption to production.
* Collaborate with other mechanical and operational departments as needed.
* Support the Maintenance Team by covering shifts during holidays, sickness, or when business needs arise.
* Provide on-call support as required by the business.
* Assist with any additional duties as directed by Management or site leadership.
* Ensure all work is performed to a high standard, adhering to the Company's Health and Safety guidelines to safeguard yourself and others.

Education and Qualifications:
* Recognized Electrician Apprenticeship/Qualification (Essential)
Knowledge:
* Familiarity with general factory maintenance practices (Essential)
Relevant Experience:
* Extensive electrical experience in a continuous process environment (Essential)
* Proven experience in fault finding (Essential)
* Prior experience handling electrical/mechanical breakdowns (Essential)
Skills and Competencies:
* Proficiency in basic PLC logic and inverter drives (Essential)
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels (Essential)
Attitudes and Behaviours:
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team (Essential)
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude (Essential)
* Strong time management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines (Essential)
