Job role: Store person.
Location: Derby
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (35 hours per week)
Salary: £22,200 per annum
About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Stores Person to join our team in Derby. This role involves a combination of stores duties, basic mechanical tasks, and occasional driving responsibilities. You will play a key part in maintaining our workshop's efficiency and ensuring timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing the stores area, including accepting deliveries and packing orders.
* Constructing wooden packing crates and pallets for dispatch.
* General workshop housekeeping to maintain a safe and organized environment.
* Assisting with basic assembly tasks as needed, using hand tools like spanners and torque wrenches.
* Driving a forklift (counterbalance licence required) and occasionally making local deliveries (full driving licence required).

About You:
* Previous experience in stores or a similar role.
* Comfortable using basic hand tools and performing semi-skilled mechanical tasks.
* Forklift licence (counterbalance).
* Full UK driving licence.
* Organized, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team.
