I am currently working alongside a public sector client who are keen to introduce a cleaning supervisor to their team based in Reading.

The successful candidate must have experience with supervising cleaning operatives and their day to date duties including schedules and work allocations.

Job description

Cleaning supervisor
On site five days a week (Monday - Friday)
Timings: 05:30am - 10:30am
42 days holiday per annum (Paid)
MUST have experience as a team leader / supervisor in the cleaning industry (Minimum 2 years(
Temporary to permanent contract
Available to start immediately.
Client is situated in RG6
Looking after 20 cleaning operatives and delivering the required service level.
You will be required to run regular team briefings to facilitate the smooth running of your department.
Work closely with the two cleaning managers and provide feedback on your operatives.
Carry out return to work interviews and to monitor sickness and leave.
Liaise with other operational staff to ensure that all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
Attend regular meetings with the cleaning managers to discuss training needs of your members of team.
Monitor the use of consumables and equipment required to ensure all operatives are using correct equipment.
