Finance & Accounts Coordinator – Part-Time
Location: Hybrid – Remote & Office-Based 1 day per week (Kensington)
Hours: Part-Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Salary: Up to £46K FTE
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounts Coordinator to join a prestigious property company based in Kensington. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong bookkeeping skills and proficiency in Xero. You will play a key part in managing financial transactions, automating processes, handling invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial administration.
This is a flexible, part-time position with the opportunity to work remotely, with one office day per week in Kensington.
Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Financial Management – Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled in Xero.

Automation & Process Improvement – Build financial automation and rules to streamline accounting processes.
*
Invoice Management – Raise and chase invoices efficiently, ensuring timely payments.
*
Payments Processing – Process supplier and agent payments with accuracy and timeliness.
*
Supplier Management – Communicate with suppliers to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
*
Banking & Cash Allocation – Ensure funds are correctly allocated to the appropriate bank accounts.
*
Reconciliation – Perform daily checks and reconcile all payments for accuracy.
*
Accounts Administration – Manage financial documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
*
Team Communication – Liaise with internal teams regarding financial queries and payment processing.

Strategic Thinking – Identify and implement efficiencies in the accounting process.
Skills & Experience Required
*
Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance or accounts role.
*
Proficient in Xero accounting software.
*
Strong bookkeeping knowledge and experience in reconciliations.
*
Experience in supplier management and invoice processing.
*
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
*
Strong communication skills for working with internal teams and external suppliers.

Strategic mindset, capable of improving processes and implementing automation.

Ability to work independently and handle responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Trustworthy and reliable, capable of handling sensitive financial data.
