Site Manager

* Freelance: Up to £320 per day

* Duration: Until Xmas 2024

We are currently searching for a Site Manager to join a prestigious commercial refurbishment project in the later stages of the build. Although there will be general internal fitout package management, there will be a strong emphasis on the roofing package which is ongoing. The roof package will consist of communal outside spaces on several floors.

Role:

* Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the project aligns with specifications and schedules.

* Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality.

* Ensuring all work is performed to the required standards and specifications.

* Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

* Ensure cost-effective use of resources and identifying potential cost savings.

* Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.

* Maintain accurate records of all site activities, including progress reports, daily logs, and incident reports.

Required:

* Extensive experience working on commercial refurbishment/fitout projects.

* Experience working on communal/landscape roof packages beneficial but not essential.

* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are essential.
