365 People are currently recruiting for an experienced Packaging Machine Operator to join our client’s team, based in North Leicester.

As a Packaging Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure the efficient and quality packaging of tissue paper products. This role is critical to their production line, ensuring products meet our clients high standards and are prepared for shipment to their customers.

The role will be working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 2 days followed by 2 nights.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate Packaging Machines: Set up, monitor, and operate packaging machinery to package tissue paper products according to production specifications.

* Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet company standards and are free of defects.

* Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of packaging machinery to optimize performance and longevity.

* Record-Keeping: Accurately document production output, machine settings, and any issues encountered.

* Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.

Additional Skills/Requirements:

* Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is necessary

* Experience working as part of a team

* Excellent communication skills
