Elvet Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a specialist structural repairs contractor for ongoing works in the North of England.

The company are an industry leader in their field delivering a number of solutions on key projects in the North of England. Key solutions delivered include: structural concrete repair, corrosion protection, bridge strengthening, bearing replacement and concrete carriageway rehabilitation. Project values range anywhere from £1m to £5m+.

Duties include:

* Reviewing & Negotiating NEC 3 & 4 contracts

* Writing and sending short form contracts to supply chain

* Providing rates for projects

* Negotiating CE’s with client and sub-contractors

* Checking over CE values and substantiation

* Setting up new projects and tracking categories

* Checking & Raising Invoices

* Sending applications to client

* Chasing contract agreements and issues

* Reviewing CVRS with Finance

* Checking for Revenue and Allocate

* Upload Commercial ce/ew/apps to online portals (where applicable)

* Update Commercial Trackers

* Update W-I-P

* Add new projects to Project Register

* Move Tender files over to Contract Files
