Commercial Manager – Structural Steel

I am seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join a leading structural steel company based in Bournemouth. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this role involves managing the commercial performance of high-value projects, up to £20 million.

Key Responsibilities:

* Overseeing the commercial performance of construction projects, ensuring cost/value management and internal reporting

* Managing all commercial and contractual dealings with the downstream supply chain

* Securing valuation and payment entitlements for projects

* Handling all aspects of the commercial process, from tendering to final account

* Ensuring compliance with JCT and NEC contracts

Knowledge and Experience:

* Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, ideally within the structural steel sector

* Suitable experience in main contracting or large subcontracting roles

* Strong understanding of JCT and NEC contracts

* Excellent track record in managing the commercial success of projects
