PRODUCTION MANAGER - LARGE FORMAT PRINTING

WEST YORKSHIRE

£38K + Parking + 25 Days Holiday (Increases after 5 Years Service) + Pension

Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8.30am - 5.30pm / Friday: 8.30am to 5pm

Our client is an award-winning Large Format Digital Printer based in West Yorkshire. They are looking for an enthusiastic and driven experienced Production Manager to join their production department who is looking to grow with a successful company.

This is a senior position reporting directly to the Line Manager. You will be in control of all production staff and your duties will be expected but is not limited to and is by no means exhausted or restrictive:

Manage and schedule the workflow from the artwork stage to dispatch.
Manage all members of production staff, holidays, sickness, overtime and shift working patterns, which may also include weekend.
Manage stock control, including the ordering. This also includes the overall responsibility of Goods In against Goods received and the tying up of paperwork on a regular basis to maintain a controlled purchasing procedure.
Ideally you will have a working knowledge of the Adobe suite software along with practical use of software Rip's.
To oversee the overall maintenance of all machines, to ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times and that general good housekeeping is maintained.
You will be expected to liaise with customers over the phone and in person.
To maintain our high standards and follow our Continuous improvement program.
You will be Hardworking.
Comfortable in a fast paced environment.
A team player.
Able to follow instructions but also use their own initiative.You will have at least 3 years experience within the large format printing industry and you must have a proven track record in managing a busy large format production department.
