Job Title: Audit & Accounts Partner (with or working towards RI status)

Location: Brighton

We are working with a well established and successful firm of accountants, seeking an Audit & Accounts Partner to lead a team and grow with the firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded professional, either with RI (Responsible Individual) status or working towards it, who is also keen to expand their experience in accounts and business advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage audit assignments for a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

Oversee accounts preparation for a variety of businesses, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

Provide strategic business advisory services, offering clients tailored advice to improve their financial performance and growth

Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery and identifying new business opportunities

Supervise and mentor a team of auditors and accountants, fostering a high-performance culture

Collaborate with other Partners to shape the strategic direction of the firm and drive its growth

Prepare and review audit and accounts reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines

Participate in business development initiatives to expand the firm’s client portfolio

Requirements:

ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with substantial experience in both audit and accounts within a practice environment

RI status or ambition to achieve it within a defined timescale

Strong technical expertise in both audit and accounts preparation, with up-to-date knowledge of regulations

Proven ability to provide high-quality business advisory services to clients

Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing teams and developing talent

Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with a focus on relationship building

Commercial acumen and ability to contribute to the strategic vision of the firm
