Children’s Home Manager – New Home

Up to £52k + £10k performance bonus

Are you a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager looking for the next step in your career?

I am looking for a Registered Manager for a brand new 2 bedded service providing a home to children and young people with complex needs which currently has one resident.

In this role you will:

* Manage the residential home on a day-to-day basis

* Liaise with other departments and external agencies to ensure that the young people receive appropriate plans, programmes and support

* Coach, support and develop staff, including supervision, to maximise their performance and ensure high standards of care

* Assist in budget preparation and manage and control budgets

* Interpret and implement changes in legislation relating to occupancy to ensure any requirements are met

* Identify resourcing needs and the ongoing selection, training and development of staff

For this rewarding role you must have:

* A professional social work qualification, QCF Level 5 in Leadership in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be working towards this

* Managerial experience within a similar environment

* 2 years residential care experience

* A full UK driving licence

* Experience of project/ work planning, monitoring and reviewing

* A knowledge of basic accounting principles and the ability to interpret financial information

This role is generally Monday to Friday 9-5, but flexibility is needed due to the nature of the home.
