Civil Engineering contractor with long term project work in Devon require a General Foreman to work on a project based in Plymouth. The GF will work along side and assist the management team to oversee water related Civil Engineering works.

Duties include supervision of ground workers, infrastructure, drainage and earthworks as required along with plant, RC works and temporary works. The GF's responsibilities will include record keeping and helping to ensure work is completed within time, budget, quality and safety parameters. The selected candidate will ideally have a minimum SSSTS and CSCS and be able to demonstrate good knowledge and experience working with main contractors on Civils, water and environmental projects. The GF role will start in April/May with some flexibility if necessary. Work will continue for approximately 8 months with possibility work beyond that if candidates prove suitable.

Day rate will be competitive and in line with experience.
