SEN Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for students aged 7-19. This role focuses on creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment to support academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including accredited courses up to GCSE standard.
Supervise and collaborate with Teaching Assistants to ensure effective classroom support.
Provide constructive feedback to help students make sustained progress.
Foster excellent literacy skills and behavior for learning within the school.
Use assessments to monitor progress and determine appropriate interventions for each student.
Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and wellbeing.
Expectations for the SEN Teacher
Maintain high teaching standards aligned with the school's behavior and safety policies.
Participate in professional development, training, and appraisal processes.

Role Details
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8.45 am - 4.00 pm; Wednesday: 8.45 am - 4.30 pm; Friday: 8.45 am - 3.30 pm (term time).
