£37k to £40k per annum - plus benefits

Previous Buyer experience required - ideally with Manufacturing & Production background

Based in the Cannock area

Duties of a Buyer

Responsible for the the procurement and management of inventory in a cost effective and timely manner

Build and maintain supplier relationships
Ensure the best decisions are made for the business
Manage the demand report on a daily basis
Negotiate cost reductions Experience required for the Buyer position

Demonstrate work examples of the above, have the ability to influence buying decisions to guarantee preferred terms with regards to quality, cost and delivery

Worked within manufacturing and production background
Logistics Distribution and Supply chain
Work to SLA's Additional information for the Buyer role

£37k to £40k - depending on experience

Days - Monday to Friday (early finish Fridays)

Permanent position - 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + Birthday off
