IN2Consult are partnering with a financial services company based in the Marylebone area who are on the lookout for a Regulatory Accountant to join their team. This is a permanent role that offers up to £60,000 pa & lots of opportunities for learning. This is an office based role but following on from probation, you will have some flexibility with hybrid working. They can also offer study support. 

Responsibilities 

Ownership of RegData reporting
Preparation of other financial reports throughout the month, such as revenue reporting
Assisting with the interim and year-end financial reporting timetables, monitor progress and drive action to deliver against key milestones and completion of the annual report and accounts
Working alongside the management accountant in the preparation of month end management information and financial analysis, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
Coordination and support of the annual external audit and, when required, quarterly interim audits of the Group companies, being a point of contact and aiding with issue resolution during that time
Preparation of working and technical accounting papers for external auditors
Assistance in the production of the Group’s strategic reports
Assisting the credit analyst to assess market risk when calculating the credit facility for clients
Offering contribution in the production of the ICARA, including forecasting, stress testing and the wind-down plan
Driving continuous improvement and automation by implementing new processes as well as internal controls to incorporate evolving business needs and reporting requirements
Other duties as may be required including ad hoc project work, for example R&D and transfer pricing
Key Skills

Excellent communication skills
Part qualified or QBE
Experience in producing statutory accounts
Good experience of RegData regulatory reporting
