CNC Machinist

Salary: Up to £16p/h
Location: Sheffield
Tenure: Permanent

Metalis are working with a Sheffield-based client who are looking to add a CNC Machinist who has experience in general machining principles. The successful candidate will be hired on a permanent basis.

The Role:

Operating CNC Lathes and CNC Grinders
Surfacing grinding duties,
Using measuring equipment micrometers Vernier's etc
Look after all tooling and machinery and maintain as advised.
Check measurement equipment used is within calibration and of good working order
Follow and work to engineering drawings

The Person:

Willing to develop onto CMM and optical measuring equipment
NVQ level 3 (Apprenticeship in Engineering)
To be able to operate at a high level of precision and competence
Full UK Driving Licence

The Details:

Up to £16.21p.h
Days only but must be flexible to do afternoons when needed (Shift allowance given on this)
