Position: Service Van Technician
Location: Cambridge
Pay Rate: £20 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vans and light commercial vehicles.

* Conduct routine servicing, safety inspections, and general mechanical work.

* Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify faults and efficiently carry out necessary repairs or replacements.

* Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards and in compliance with safety regulations.

* Complete job cards, service reports, and relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

* Provide high levels of customer service, offering clear explanations of work needed and completed.

* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and keep the work area clean and organized.

* Stay updated with the latest automotive technology, tools, and industry standards.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Service Van Technician, Vehicle Technician, or similar role in the motor industry.

* Relevant qualifications in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).

* Strong knowledge of van mechanics and diagnostic procedures.

* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

* Ability to work independently and efficiently manage workload.

* Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

* Full UK driving license
