Mechanical Fitter, Irvine, Salary from £40,000 to £43,000 per annum + Training & Development Opportunities!

Day shift Monday – Friday 6am – 6pm

Night Shift – 6pm – 6am 4 on 4 off rotation

Mechanical fitter required to work within a well-established Manufacturing Facility with recently installed state of the art equipment. This company has had significant investments put into the facility creating a brilliant opportunity for a mechanical fitter to work as part of the existing maintenance team.

Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities:

* Repair and overhaul of all plant & equipment as required.

* Responsible for repairing and replacing damaged equipment.

* Active participation and meaningful engagement in continuous improvement activities and meetings.

* Interrogate, fault find and resolve any problems that are shown on the company’s equipment.

* Respond to plant downtime to ensure that the plant can maximize throughput.

* Active participation in and close out of assigned tasks associated with summer & winter overhauls to ensure all plant equipment is maintained and repaired as required.

Mechanical Fitter Requirements:

* Experience working in a heavy engineering or industrial facility (in a mechanical environment).

* Comfortable working in environments that may be physically demanding and can include exposure to dirt, dust, or other challenging conditions.

* A strong mechanical bias with experience in mechanical systems.
