Are you a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds and helping students reach their full potential? Supply Desk are partnering with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Sittingbourne renowned for its supportive environment and commitment to educational excellence. We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team from January on a full-time basis, with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality English lessons for KS3-5, fostering a love for literature and language.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and learning.
Employ effective classroom management techniques to support a productive learning experience.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual learning paths.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best academic outcomes.
Collaborate with staff and participate in school events and extracurricular activities to enrich the student experience.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with proven experience teaching English at KS3-5 levels.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
A passion for teaching English and inspiring students of all abilities.
Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational practices.
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
