Job Title: English Teacher

Location: Stockport 

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £120 - £220 per day

TeacherActive are recruiting for an established, excellent Secondary school in Stockport, who are looking for a long term English Teacher. The teacher will initially be employed by TeacherActive on a day rate (in line with the Teacher Pay Scale). If they are a good fit for the school after a trial period, they will then be employed on salary by the school. The school are open to applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs), as well as experienced Secondary English Teachers. 

Our dedicated consultants have an ideal mix of skills and knowledge, coming from a background of both hands-on classroom experience and extensive recruitment experience. Many of our roles for qualified teachers have immediate start dates, with no need to wait until the new academic year to gain further experience.

The successful qualified English Teacher will have:

- QTS with English specialism (ECT’s are welcome to apply)

- Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4 / KS4

- Excellent classroom management

- Strong communication skills
