Job Title: Project Architect
Location: Newbury
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
An exciting opportunity for a Project Architect has come up to join a dynamic and forward-thinking architectural practice dedicated to creating innovative, sustainable, and high-quality design solutions.
My client specialise in High – End Residential projects, with a blend of Passivhaus for net-zero – ready new and existing buildings.
Aztrum welcomes applications from Project Architects who hold exceptional personal skills and empathy with clients, and also has experience running projects within the Residential space.
Key Responsibilities for this Project Architect role:
Lead the design and development of architectural projects from concept through to completion, ensuring quality and design excellence.
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including initial client consultation, design development, documentation, construction administration, and post-occupancy evaluations.
Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet both creative and functional goals.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project delivery.Required Skills & Qualifications for this Project Architect role:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Licensed Architect (or in the process of becoming licensed).
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Project Architect, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Proficiency in architectural design software (Vectorworks desirable, but not essential).
Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes.
Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work within tight deadlines.
