Vehicle Inspector
Location: Sheppey, Kent
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 07:00-16:30
Pay Rate: £11.44ph-£12.50p/h - Negotiable depending on experience. 1.5x for overtime.
Igloo is recruiting Vehicle Inspectors to work in Sheerness and the surrounding areas
Successful candidates will be responsible for co-ordinating the handover of vehicles to customers, ensuring that the service is nothing short of exceptional every time.
The Role
As a vehicle inspector, you will be undertaking the below tasks:
* Carry out all inbound fleet vehicle inspections
* To manage any issues and report damage in a timely manner
* Accurately record damage via handheld technology and ensure all damage is captured
* Ensure correct procedures are adopted following company inspection guidelines
* To be confident and able to work as part of a team as well as alone
* To be clear and accurate in completing manufacturers documents for recording damages
* Be able to take and send photos of damages directly to company insurances.
* Ensure daily inspection targets are hit
What kind of person we are looking for?
Successful candidates must be able to;
* Demonstrate their previous experience, knowledge and understanding of working within an automotive inspection role. Other automotive experience would be considered.
* Demonstrate quick learning / refreshing skills on manufacturers inspection guidelines
* Demonstrate previous experience of working within a team or alone
* Complete inspections within the agreed time given
* Excellent communication skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
