Position Overview
As a Teacher of History with Psychology, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons across Key Stages, fostering a love for both subjects among your students. This role involves full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, assessment, and participation in extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver inspiring lessons in History and Psychology that meet curriculum standards.
Monitor, evaluate, and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
Foster an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources.
Participate in school events and collaborate with colleagues to promote educational excellence.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in History and Psychology.
Proven ability to engage and inspire students at secondary school level.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
A commitment to professional development and collaborative working.
