Job Description:

We are seeking multiple talented and enthusiastic Healthcare assistants to join our team to become a SEN Teaching assistant. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the classroom and providing personal care to students.

We are recruiting for a dedicated special college providing exceptional education and care to pupils with profound learning difficulties. The college require someone with transferable skills from a healthcare assistant background as their students generally require care and support similar to a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care for students
Work under the class teacher to provide support for pupils in the classroom.
Work closely with children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and/or challenging behaviours
Liaise with an experienced team, who will support you within the collegeQualifications and Experience:

Experience as a Healthcare assistant
Experience in personal care.
Experience in working with challenging behaviour
Epilepsy training
Preferably PEG feeding trained (not required) Benefits:
