Location: Newport (Hybrid - 1 day per week from home after 3-month probation)

Salary: £24,000 per annum rising to £26,500 after 6 months) + Study Support

We are recruiting an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our clients dynamic finance team of six members, based in Newport. Key Responsibilities:

Processing supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
Assisting with month-end tasks and reporting
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
Supporting the finance team with ad hoc duties as requiredAbout You:

Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role is desirable
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues
