IT Support Technician | Windows 2nd line BAU Support, Hardware Support, Mobile phones | SC Clearance:

Must have Active SC Clearance to be considered for this position at this time

The role:

We are currently wokring with a Tech Consultancy, who are looking for two SC Cleared 2nd Line Support Engineers to provide BAU Support and Hardware break/fix for one of their clients in Derby. Key Information:

Duration: 6 months - very highly likely extensions.
Pay: Circa £170 - £180 per day Inside IR35
Location: On site in Derby 5 days per week.
Start Date: Jan 2025
Circa 7.5 working hours per day

The Key Requirements:

Proven experience in IT Service environment
Ideally certified in appropriate technologies, Dell and Windows to support business strategy
Provide IT Break/Fix Support (1st, 2nd line)
Escalate issues in line with company processes to ensure customer demands are met.
Ensure Department/Contract meets SLA performance targets
Supporting Dell and HP kit, docking stations, keyboards, mice
Windows 10/11 environment
MS Outlook & Office 2016
2nd Line Software Support & Installation
Keep skills up to date with IT industry standards as appropriate to the role/contract
Understand and adhere to policies and procedures
Maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels
